30 silos and 24 tanks

TPT has approx. 30 silos for the storage of dry chemicals and powders with the following characteristics:
- volumes ranging from 180 mto up to 640 m3
- offer the ability to be filled directly from inland freighter or container
- equipped with dedicated pipelines for various chemicals and powders

TPT holds 24 tanks for the storage of liquids and have these features:
- volumes ranging from 80 m3 to up to 1300 m3 
- tanks made of stainless steel and carbon steel
- fully equipped with heating and cooling facilities


7.5 m depth for receiving coasters

TPT is located on the Gent channel by Terneuzen. We are in possession of our own quay where vessels with a maximum depth of 7.5 metres are able to dock. Here, we load and unload inland shipping freighters and coasters. We also have all facilities needed for the loading and unloading of lorries. TPT is easily accessible via the surrounding roadways which are congestion-free. We also offer a connection by train nearby.


Strategic location

Situated in the harbour of Terneuzen, in the Channel zone, TPT is strategically located in the triangle of Antwerp, Gent and Rotterdam. This is the ideal location for the optimal servicing of clients in the Benelux and the rest of Europe.

Besides our provision of logistic services, clients choose TPT because of the specific opportunities we offer to further develop products. We have the ability to add value. We have the following business-specific facilities which enable us to achieve this:

Screening plant

We screen powders based on particle size. We screen, for example, particles smaller than 20 or 30 mµ from bulk material. For this screening process, we utilise an airclassifier.

Drying plant
In order to lower the humidity of different powders to the desired level, solid substances are exposed to warm air in flash dryers.

Calciner/Rotary kiln
The powders are calcinated at temperatures of up to 800
oC in a rotating drum.

In order to filter emulsions, we have various filter types with all the accompanying accoutrements.

Mixing plant
With the versatile mixing plant we are able to mix or or react liquid chemicals, powders or a combination of powders and liquids.

Ammonia plant
This plant enables us to use ammonia (NH3 99,7%) for the production of ammonium chlorides like ammonium acetate, ammonium propionate and ammonium formate.

Our plants are connected to each other. We can use them separately, but are also able to use them as one whole.
